Ever since I can remember I loved going to the swap meets in CA. And flea markets in Texas and anywhere for that matter.
Love that funky junk. Weather its finding an old rusty bicycle that was someone’s yard art, taking it apart removing the tires rims off the rims to be replaced with new ones. Removing the pedals, sprocket ,chain guard
Handle bars and….we’ll , you get the idea. After I get all the parts are separated the next thing is to remove all of the paint down to bare metal.
Now for the fun part. Prime and sand.120 grit. Paint and sand.180 grit.
Paint and sand. 320 grit. From there it depends on what your project is.
One of my next projects is this 1946 featherweight bicycle with child seat.
